We've color matched matched Honda, especially Goldwings, Harley Davidson, Suzuki, and even Moto Guzzi. The paint is matched with a color chip at the automotive paint supplier.
Manufacturers also keep their paint formulas secret, so there is no way to duplicate custom changing colors in the sunlight or one of the many pearls, metal flakes, or stripes they utilize.

Some lessons you need to learn the hard way and boy have we learned.
We used to say “Just email photos of your bike. If you can find them, send the Factory Color Codes too and we can get to work.”
Why is that not going to happen any more? Because we know what doesn't work.
What we have found is that photos distort the color and too many of the factory color codes are proprietary or so old they are no longer available.
Here’s what we do know. Our staff does a really great job color matching the kit paint when we have a piece of your motorcycle.
When we don’t have a piece of your bike it doesn’t always work out the way that you want it.
So it becomes your call.
A. Send us a piece of your bike so we can do a good job. Trike On America paints fenders one time as a courtesy. We do not charge extra for this service like our competitors do.
B. We can send you a primed kit and you have it painted at your expense with a shop of your choosing.
C. Take your chances send a photo or paint codes. We do not guarantee the outcome. We will only paint one time as a courtesy at no charge.
To be perfectly clear... this is a courtesy and included... there is no charge for this so you are out nothing if you request primed or bare metal fenders.
Other manufactures will send you only primed or, for an extra charge, black fenders. One of our competitors, not mentioning any names....Voyager charges an additional $425.00 for one tone or $525.00 for two toned paint. THIS IS INCLUDED IN OUR PRICE!!!
