Be aware this is by no means a "one size fits all" kit. Each RICHLAND ROADSTER is hand crafted and custom built to your bike... taking into account your bags, exhaust, paint, lighting, and other features unique to your bike. Each customer provides us with a photo of the bike. We'll talk about your preferences and then start the build just the way you want it... there is really no other way to do it. Keep your expectations realistic... You will not win the RIDDLER AWARD at SEMA. It's just a trike kit and the customizing and alterations you want perform are only limited by your available skills and imagination. Because of the customized nature of this product, returns are not accepted and all sales are final.
As the manufacturer we gladly accept checks, money orders, bank transfers and of course we love cash.
The price of the Richland Roadster is just about $1500 less than comparable kits because you are buying directly from the manufacturer... who just happen to be Authentic Country Boys in Florida. You know that's SMART. No dealer mark-up. Keep in mind however the other side of that double edge sword. Warranty work is performed in our Florida facility. You will be responsible for the freight costs to and from the Richland Roadster shop.

The Automotive quality base coat / clear coat 2 stage paint is color matched... even two toned... to your factory color so it will seem like a factory installation on your bike and not an incidental add on. This will not be paint from the manufacturer because they want way too much for that... and a lot of times they will not sell it to the customer... only their dealers. The paint is matched with a color chip at the automotive paint supplier. Manufacturers also keep their paint formulas secret, so there is no way to duplicate custom changing colors in the sunlight or one of the many pearls, metal flakes, or stripes they utilize. It's the matching paint color that gives this RICHLAND ROADSTER Motorcycle Trike Conversion Kit the custom look that enhances your bike to its full potential.
The best way for us to color match is to have a piece of your bike; we will return it with your kit. To be perfectly clear... this is a courtesy and included... there is no charge for this so you are out nothing if you request primed or bare metal fenders. Other manufactures will send you only primed or, for an extra charge, black fenders. Visit the paint scheme page on this site to see few examples of actual completed customer paint jobs. You know there will be a BIG difference in the way your bike will look after the RICHLAND ROADSTER is installed.
And the RICHLAND ROADSTER quickly detaches because it does not alter your bike's factory suspension. (unlike some brands that require you to remove and replace your rear axle... and leaves an ugly belly pan in place.... GOOD GRIEF!!! It reminds me of taking the back cover off a wrist watch when we were kids to see how it worked only to watch the small parts explode all over. If you have ever removed a rear axle you know what I'm talking about.)
It only takes about 15 minutes to detach using a 9/16" wrench and you unplug the electrical wiring harness. The only evidence remaining on your bike is the short electrical connection plug. As you can see in the photos you can add a hitch just for the asking and customize it to your liking with lighting and custom features of your choosing.
OH... I almost forgot to mention the running boards… These are magnificent and makes it very safe and easy for getting on and off... and you won't accidently put your foot down and have the trike kit run you over. I just hate it when that happens!!! If you are riding with the love of your life this could rekindle your romantic love life. Just last year a customer credited the RICHLAND ROADSTER with the conception of their seventh child... now they are asking me for child support. HEY... Does that seem right to you???
It's a lot of fun in the shop. It's kind of like American Choppers... the show about Orange County Choppers with Paul Sr. and Paul Jr. and Mikey. We don't get angry... and we don't curse... and we certainly don't rip the doors off our buildings. So if you want to visit you'll find it a very pleasant experience indeed!!!

This smooth ride is the result of incorporating the latest innovative SIDECAR technology into the RICHLAND ROADSTER trike suspension... which means each side is independent, as if you had left side and right side mounted sidecars... and if you run up on a curb or uneven pavement all wheels will remain on the ground. It starts with a forward mounted torsion bar... (under the front controls), and a mid-mounted torsion bar... (in the center stand section). Then combined with eight Patented High Performance Energy Suppression Bushings in conjunction with forward mounted torsion bars you'll find the road flattening flex you need to achieve this kind of smooth responsive experience.
The fact is... after I told a customer about this he installed just one side of his RICHLAND ROADSTER and headed out with his friends on a poker run charity ride. UH... He was running late, as usual of course. All worked just fine with one side installed and it didn't bother him at all that his friends were snickering... however when the police stopped him and insisted on administering a field sobriety test he realized he needed to consider installing the complete kit. His wife was very pleased about that, without question. I'm glad there was no cavity search required. This sale does not include the bike. (It's for the RICHLAND ROADSTER Trike Conversion Kit only.) The RICHLAND ROADSTER comes standard with 15 inch 40,000 mile automotive tires and custom 5 spoke polished aluminum wheels at no extra charge... (not the small 8" or 12" cheap training wheel type trailer tires and wheels that makes your bike remind you of that kid in Jr. High with the big ears!!! ... uh... don't laugh... I was that kid!).
It also comes complete with a lighting system that features LED lights including brake lights, running lights, turn signals, and fender recess mounted head lights, and also with a wiring harness that plugs quickly into your bike's electrical system allowing for greater visibility and safety on the road. Remember, LED lights use the least amount of energy so your bike's factory electrical system should be more than sufficient. And with LED lights... everybody will be able to see you coming and going that much better. Again... this is standard... there is no extra charge for these lighting features.
