Yes...and no. I tell folks I'm the one and only Johnny Ray Richland, but the truth is a little more complicated. I'm the only one without any felony arrests or convictions. There were 16 before me, of distant uncles and cousins, and of course...Dad.
I was born Jonathan Raymond Richland, Jr. on August 8, 1969 in Richland, Florida. It was a stormy afternoon and Mom said I didn't want to come out. Mom is not always a reliable witness, but in this case it sounds about right...I've always been a bit squeamish.
